- Beautification is the public face of the Framingham Garden Club. We work together to design and maintain a variety of civic improvement projects, including the Cushing Chapel gardens, Nobscot Park, Saxonville Dam and the McAuliffe Library. We plant and care for seasonal flowers and greenery at the Danforth Museum urns and Horse trough; plus, maintaining the Old Library urn. If you are interested in helping to make Framingham a beautiful place to live, this is your committe.
- A scholarship is available for two students in all three Framingham High Schools. This scholarship should be used to further develop the student’s interest in environmental and horticultural fields. The garden club provides funds for internships to The New England Wild Flower Society’s Garden in the Woods for two high school students interested in working with and learning from its staff. A grant is available for any teacher employed by the Framingham Public Schools. This grant would be used to enhance the curricula in the fields of horticulture and environment.
